Happy February

Thanks to everyone that came out to our Annual Shinnenkai. We had a great time! This month, we'll be playing volleyball, doing Bingo at Heiwa Terrace, and taking a trip to King Spa!

We've recently redesigned the website, so please check it out! www.jetaachicago.com

King Spa & H-Mart

There's something our everyday American lives are sorely lacking... And that's time spent sitting together in a huge onsen! Join us at King Spa on Sunday, February 26th!

Come relax in the sauna, the fire room, ice room, salt room, charcoal room, base rock room, amethyst room, pyramid room, and Bul Ga Ma room. Entrance is $25 and it even has a movie theater, juice bar, and restaurant to enjoy!

We will meet at King Spa in Niles at 2:00 PM, and after a few hours of enjoying the facilities, we will go to the nearby H-Mart. While there, you can stock up on all your favorite Asian food items!

Please RSVP to Dan Martin at social@jetaachicago.com. Carpooling can be arranged by JETAA. Please let us know if you need a ride or are willing to be a driver.

See you there!

White Day Yakiniku & Karaoke

Inline Image

There's a very special holiday coming up, and JETAA would like to celebrate it with you. St. Patrick's Day? No, why White Day of course! One month after Valentines' Day is the day in Japan for men to give gifts (typically white chocolate or marshmallows) to their counterparts to show appreciation for the Valentine's Day gifts given that year.

Come celebrate White Day at San Soo Gab San, a delicious Korean-style yakiniku restaurant in Lincoln Square. After dinner, we will go to karaoke at Lincoln Karaoke.

Saturday, March 10th
Yakiniku: 6:30 PM, San Soo Gab San
Karaoke: 9:00 PM, Lincoln Karaoke

The cost is $25 for dinner and $10 for karaoke (does not include beverages). Please pay in advance here.

Looking forward to celebrating with you!
